Watering

Many people see watering as an easy gardening job. However, it can arguably require the most skill, with both timing and placement being crucial. A good gardener will water when temperatures are cool, to maximise the amount of water the plant can use, and they'll also water right to the base of the plant. Perhaps the most important thing to remember, however, is that when watering, you have fantastic access to your plants ' so use the time to make your daily checks. Does it need feeding? Picking over? Is it being nibbled by pests?
